I had an iPod for years before I started exploring podcasts, but there are several that I've listened to regularly for a long time now. The only thing they have in common is that each offers a quirky and unique glimpse into the human experience.
I also subscribe to The New Yorker's monthly fiction podcast, which I usually enjoy, but not always.
Any recommendations?

I like Smiley and West; the BBC film review show with Simon Mayo and Mark Kermode (comes out on Fridays); the Dinner Party download for the jokes; and In Our Time with Melvyn Bragg (this week: the Medieval University).
The Oxford Dictionary of National Biography can be interesting. Via their website (http://www.oup.com/oxforddnb/info/freeodnb/pod/) you can also get a Life of the Day.
I love "Planet Money" from NPR and "Wait, Wait...Don't Tell Me." If you want something more introspective, I am listening to a Buddhist psycotherapist named Tara Brach who is wonderful. (www.tarabrach.com)
Other than that, I heartily endorse the ones you already listed.

Thanks. I'll check them out.
