I wasn't allowed to say geez or gee wiz since it is short for Jesus. My mother said people could go to blazes for years before realizing it was the same as saying hell, so she switched. And my father could make the word blast sound like the longest foulest obscenity ever uttered. I love this article, thanks Derek
