Fond though I am of both of these things, it never occurred to me to enjoy them together. Why don't you have a try and report back to me. (Don't tell the Texans, or they'll deep-fry the whole mess. They always do.)
As pairings go, this one seems about as logical as a Smart monster truck.

I'm kind of with you on that, yet somewhat tempted. Just as well I don't live in California, I guess.
It can't be as bad as lobster ice cream, though, which is also real.
