Overheard on the Subway

A D.C. friend heard this last week:

Teenage boy to teenage girl: Hey, how you baby?
Girl: It good; it gettin' big.
Boy: Word.

And a friend in Boston was moved to poetry:

crowded subway morn
woman sings a happy tune
everyone unnerved
